Before you call
Can you make a car key if I have lost all of them?
Yes. I specialise in all-keys-lost recovery for most Australian-domestic-market vehicles. I travel directly to your vehicle, cut a new blade on-site, and program the transponder chip into your car's immobiliser without requiring a tow truck.
How much does a replacement car key cost?
Car keys cut and programmed start from $99. The exact price depends on whether your vehicle uses a basic transponder key, a remote flip key, or a push-to-start smart fob. Call me with your make, model and year for a fixed upfront quote.
What areas around Townsville do you cover?
I provide mobile on-site service across Townsville and outer suburbs, plus regional trips up to approximately 100km, including Ayr, Home Hill and Ingham.
Will unlocking my vehicle or house cause damage?
No. I use professional, non-destructive entry tools and picking techniques that let me bypass automotive and residential locks without damaging the lock, door frame or vehicle paint.
What ID or paperwork do I need to show?
To comply with security and legal requirements, I require valid photo ID (driver's licence) and proof that you are the vehicle owner or authorised tenant (vehicle registration or lease agreement) before opening locks or cutting keys.
Do you offer a pensioner discount?
Yes — I offer a 10% pensioner and senior discount on any job, vehicle or property. Just mention your pension or seniors card when booking.
Does calling after hours cost more?
Late-night and after-hours callouts do incur an additional fee on top of the standard price. You'll be told the total, including any after-hours loading, before I start — no surprises once I'm on site.
