CCTV Installation & Security Upgrades
Cameras supplied and installed, and the physical hardware behind them brought up to scratch. A locked door someone can shoulder open isn't security, and a camera pointed at the wrong thing isn't either.
Getting the camera positions right
Most of the value in a CCTV system is decided before anything is mounted. Cameras aimed too wide give you footage where every face is four pixels across. Cameras facing into the afternoon sun give you silhouettes. Cameras covering the back fence, where nobody has ever entered, give you nothing at all.
The useful positions are the ones people have to pass through — the front approach, the driveway, the side gate, the door they'd actually try. I'd rather put fewer cameras where they'll capture something identifiable than more cameras everywhere.
Physical security first
Cameras record what happened. Locks decide whether it happens. Deadbolts, higher-security cylinders, and proper hardware on doors and windows do the prevention; the cameras handle the part where you need to know who and when.
Since I'm a locksmith first, the two get looked at together rather than sold to you separately.
Homes and businesses
Residential installs, small business premises, sheds and yards. If you've had a break-in already, mention it — how they got in changes what's worth doing.

Can I view the cameras on my phone?
Most current systems support it. Tell me what you want to be able to do and I'll match the gear to it rather than the other way round.
Do you work on safes?
No. Safes are the one thing on the locksmithing list I don't take on. Everything else, ask.
Can you upgrade my door locks at the same time?
Yes, and it's usually the sensible order — hardware first, cameras second.
