Locksmith — Ayr & Home Hill

The Burdekin is a regular run. Ayr and Home Hill sit comfortably inside the service area, and I'm through that way often enough that a trip south is routine rather than an expedition.

What's worth knowing before you call

It's roughly an hour and a bit each way from Townsville, so the one thing that matters is catching me before I've committed the day elsewhere. A morning call gives the best chance of same-day, and if you're flexible on timing I can often fold your job into a run that's already heading down the highway — which is the cheapest way for you to get seen.

If you're in Giru, you're on the way, and the same applies.

The full range comes with me

The van carries the same gear regardless of where it's parked, so this isn't a reduced service. Car keys cut and programmed, all-keys-lost recovery, house lockouts, rekeys, security hardware and CCTV are all available in the Burdekin exactly as they are in town.

Cane farms, sheds and machinery yards included — if it has a lock on it and it isn't a safe, it's worth asking about.

Common questions

Before you call

Is there a travel charge to Ayr or Home Hill?

You'll be quoted a total before I leave Townsville, with any travel already in it. No surprises on arrival.

Can you come out the same day?

Often, especially if you call in the morning. It depends on what's already booked, so ring rather than assume either way.

How far south do you go?

Ayr and Home Hill are well inside the usual range, which runs to roughly 100km. Further than that, ask — it's often still workable by arrangement.

Need this sorted today?

Call or text with the details — vehicle make, model and rego, or the address if it's a property — and I'll tell you what's involved and what it costs.
